CSA Doorstep Delivery Service Contract

 

 

We would like to thank you for your interest in this new program we are offering this season. We are just as excited as you are about providing our fresh produce to you each week.  It is our hope that you have read over everything on our webpage (www.TheFarmStandDE.com), where everything is described in full detail on the pages under the Produce Home Delivery Tab. Below is our contract that we will need you to read over 

 

***NEW for 2019 season: We will be providing an account user web page for each member. This website will be used to accept payments.

 

 

 

This is an 18 week program (May through September)

We have chosen Tuesday as the delivery day each week

Deliveries will begin Tuesday, May 21st

Delivery time will be between 10am – 6pm

 

Our Mini Box

You will receive a weekly or bi-weekly share of produce until September 17th

Ideal for couples or singles. This is approx. a ¼ bushel box worth

Price: $18/week

 

 

Our Small Box:

You will receive a weekly or bi-weekly share of produce until September 17th  

Ideal for couples, singles, and small families. This is approx. a ½ bushel box worth

Price: $26/week

 

 

Our Small CUSTOM Box:

You will receive a weekly or bi-weekly share of produce until September 17th  

Ideal for couples, singles, and small families. This is approx. a ½ bushel box worth of produce you choose from our list of available produce for that week.

Price: $32/week

 

 

Our Large Box:

You will receive a weekly or bi-weekly share of produce until September 17th

Ideal for families. This is approx. 1 bushel box worth

Price: $35/week

 

 

Our Large CUSTOM Box:

You will receive a weekly or bi-weekly share of produce until September 17th

Ideal for families. This is approx. 1 bushel box worth

Price: $44/week

We accept check, credit card, and EBT.

Add on Items

 

If you would ever like to add on items, you will be able to access our account user page by Sunday morning at 11:00am and you can choose items until Monday morning at 8:00am (Please leave a cooler out for milk and eggs). We will send out a reminder email each week, reminding you to access our Add On Items list on your Farmigo account user page if you wish to add anything additionally. 

We will add additional items to this list on various weeks, so look for unique options each week!

 

 

 

Refer a Friend

 

Share The Farm Stand with your Friends! We know that our customers are our best spokespeople! That's why we give you a $10 credit on your account for every person you refer to us. It's our little way of saying thanks for talking about us, and a great way for you to get free fruits and veggies!

When you tell a friend about us, all they have to do is put your name down when they sign up so we know who to thank. Then, when they receive their second order, we'll add a $10 credit to your account. It's simple, and you don't have to do anything (except tell your friends about us!) We take care of the rest, and your credits will automatically be applied towards your next box of produce.

The best part is, there is no limit to how much credit you can earn. If you refer three people to us, then you just earned enough to get a free small box of produce. The credit never expires, and there is no limit! If you pay in advance, then you will receive $10 back for each recommendation.

Delivery of Your Share

I understand that my weekly share will be dropped off at the address provided when I signed up. If I am out of town and cannot find a substitute to have my share delivered to, I am to notify The Farm Stand via email (farmer@thefarmstandde.com) in advance so my share can either be held or given to a local family in need with school-aged children.

I understand that if I have an Add On option of milk or eggs, it is my responsibility to leave a cooler with ice or a cool pack inside. If a cooler is not left, your milk/eggs will not be left. I understand that these boxes can sometimes be heavy and if I drop my box while picking it up and transporting it inside my house it is my responsibility, not The Farm Stand’s and no refund will be given.

 

Membership

I understand that once I sign up I have secured my place in the CSA for the season. I’m signing up for a “Farm Stand Fresh” share, whether I pay in full or in installments. I am liable for the full amount of the share. 

After the date of the first CSA delivery, there is no refund or cancellation. You may choose to find someone to buy out the rest of your season’s share.  That person would then pay the original shareholder directly. You will notify The Farm Stand via email (farmer@thefarmstandde.com) of this change.

 

You have three payment options with your membership. You can pay the total for the membership in full, you may pay in two installments, one charge will be billed with your initial signup and the second will be billed on Week 4 of your delivery. Or you can choose to pay each week you receive a delivery.

 

I understand we are working with Mother Nature.  Every year proves to be different, allowing different items to thrive than the year before and different items to struggle as well.  Just as with having your own garden, some items may be more plentiful than others at times.  Boxes will be composed of items that are currently in-season for Delaware (or if you chose the option for some non local fruits and veggies, they will be included on some weeks as well).  So, you will not see watermelon in May, but come July, you sure will!  

 

Communicate Through Email

By signing up for the CSA, I understand that I will be added to the weekly email list. This is how The Farm Stand communicates updates and changes.  The Farm Stand will not be held responsible for miscommunications due to emails going to your spam folder. Notify us immediately if you do not receive an email receipt of your payment or weekly email.

All our customer’s information is kept strictly confidential. We do not release any information to anyone regarding our customers.

*To receive the 5% discount payment must be paid in full upon sign up for the Full CSA Doorstep Delivery Service. 

To save both money and materials, we reuse our containers.  We will pick up the empty container when we deliver your next share.  We have a $15 container fee that will be charged if the container is not left for us to pick up with your next delivery.

So remember each week:

  1. Check your email and account user page for Add On List and any updates

  2. Choose items on our page by Monday at 8:00am with any Add On items

  3. Delivery coming between 10am-6pm on Tuesdays

  4. Make sure you set out your box from previous week

  5. Make sure to leave a cooler if needed

  6. Email us if you are going to be out of town…no need for spoiled food! 

 

We are so excited to have you as a part of our farm family!  Each week we will keep in contact via email and remind you of your delivery.
